A little while ago, i wrote to Fleur via the Shortland Street fanmail email address. I knew that I would probably take quite a bit if she replied because a) it's coming from New Zealand (I'm here in Southwest USA) and b) she's very busy. So I got an email back saying "Thanks for writing! Unforunately the cast don't have access to the email so I'll foward it on to Fleur and she'll be able to answervia postal." I replied with my name and adresss and thus the waiting began.
One time this year, before the end of my senior year, I went to the mailboxes and there was a surprise waiting for me. I actually was very anxious and nervous and I waited to open the envalope, being stupid. When I finally opened it I was disappointed because there was a letter from the Shortland Street officials and just a postcard of the cast. Again, being stupid I didn't realize until I turned the postcard over, there was a message from Fleur!
